The discharge line was moved and buried. The green cover at the end is what keeps debris and wildlife out from clogging your system.

After our installation, you can see how much nicer it looks. The caps on the top of the two drainage lines are called IceGuard® and they prevent your basement from flooding if the lines are frozen.
