This Cuba, Missouri home's floors were sinking above its dirt-floor crawl space. Over the years, the space's makeshift cinder block supports had begun to fail under the weight of the home, and something stronger was necessary. These jacks are capable of holding 60,000 pounds each, more than enough for the average home.

System design specialist Adam R. designed a solution to solve their cracking, bowing walls and restore their foundation ot its original position.
Geo-Lock wall anchors restore the walls and provide permant support for the foundation
Visible cracking in foundation walls is often a sign of high pressure coming from the surrounding soil. This can lead to all sorts of problems like water leaks, bowing, or even total wall collapse. It is important to address cracking walls early to avoid further, costly damage in the future. This Jonesburg, MO homeowner called Woods Basement Systems to do just that. A Woods team installed 4 GeoLock wall anchors to make the wall level and support it for the life of the home.

Every time it would rain, she would have to check the basement to see if the cracks and spots where the floor meets the wall for water. After years of cleaning the basement up, she finally decided to call Woods Basement Systems.
Here at Woods, we have several items patented to keep your basement dry – year round. In Jenny’s basement, they installed our WaterGuard system. WaterGuard is our interior drainage system, it is installed around the perimeter of the basement, collecting water as it enters the home before it could reach the floor. This will protect the items that Jenny has stored in her basement, as well as keep her home safe and dry for years to come.

The Twin Pack sump pump had two stainless steel pumps for double protection and they are installed at different heights to combat against flooding and leaks. The WaterGuard is placed in the perimeter if the basement floor and it workds to collect water that seeps through basement walls and guide it to the sump pump. Once at the sump pump, the water can be reomved from the home.
Now Nate F. has a watertight basement.
Water leaks and closets do not usually mix. Moisture wreaks havoc on clothes and valuables, rendering the space useless. This Eolia, Missouri homeowner was facing these exact issues, as water would stream into his basement closet whenever it rained. In order to waterproof the space, a Woods Basement Systems team installed a TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe is equipped with three separate pumps and is capable of removing over 10,000 gallons of water per hour.
Severe cracking in the exterior brickwork of a home is often a telltale sign of foundation settlement, and the longer the problem goes unsolved, the worse that cracking will get; this was the case in this Wentzville, Missouri home. The homeowner had noticed cracking for several years, and was finally ready to tackle the issue. A Woods Basement Systems team installed several Push Piers, galvanized steel beams, underneath the foundation that were then adjusted to lift it back to level and support it for the life of the structure.
The sump pump is the most important part of any basement waterproofing system. If the sump pump isn't up to snuff, then water will be a problem. A good, efficient sump pump makes all the difference, and the king of them all is the TripleSafe sump pump. Equipped with three independently operating pumps, one of which is a battery backup, the TripleSafe is capable of removing well over 10,000 gallons of water per hour at an 8 foot head. This Wentzville, Missouri homeowner took this into account and replaced her old, inefficient sump pump with a TripleSafe and she couldn't be happier!

Mauri and Michael C. of Lake St. Louis, Missouri were troubled by their old waterproofing system. The old sump pump was unreliable and its openness allowed moisture to enter their basement. System design specialist Adam R. designed a solution to keep their basement dry.

This Creve Couer, Missouri homeowner elected to finish her basement before waterproofing it. It took less than a month for her to regret that decision, as water began to come out onto the floor from behind the drywall. The moisture had badly damaged some electronics and several pieces of furniture, and she knew that it would only get worse if it was ignored.
In order to waterproof the space, a Woods Basement Systems team first had to cut away the bottom half of the drywall and rip up the flooring to gain access to the foundation. After this, a WaterGuard drainage system was installed. These gutter-like drains are put in place underneath the floor at the base of the leaking walls to catch any and all water. The homeowner's basement is now protected, but she could have avoided a lot of extra work and expense if she had just waterproofed before finishing.
Water will find the path of least resistance to get into the basement so any weaknesses in the foundation of a home can allow for major leaks. Tom L. of Saint Charles, MO had large cracks in his foundation walls that leaked water into his basement and created messes so Tom called Woods Basement Systems for a free assessment. Woods recommended installing basement waterproofing system alongside a wall support system.
As part of that system, Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement, as seen in the picture. WaterGuard is installed on top of the concrete footing of the home so it will remain free of clogging mud and debris. It collects water from the foundation walls and floors using its wall flanges and channel holes and directs it to the sump pump for removal
The foundation walls of Tom L.’s Saint Charles, MO home had cracks. Water leaked in from both the cracks and the wall joints and threatened the finished parts of his basement as well as created a mess so Tom L. called Woods Basement Systems. Along with a wall support system, Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.
As part of that waterproofing system, Woods installed the Twin Pack to remove water from the basement through its discharge lines. The Twin Pack contains two powerful cast-iron pumps that sit at different levels within the sump liner. This means that the Twin Pack can keep the basement dry in a range of weather conditions from light showers to heavy downpours.
Thomas Y. of St. Charles, Missouri noticed that his home's basement was collecting water. He did not want to have to clean up a mess after every heavy rain shower, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Adam R. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a Twin Pack sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system. Foreman Melvin F. traveled to the home to install the waterproofing products.
The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement and was then covered with concrete. It collects any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. It then drains the water to the sump pump.

System design specialist, Adam R., advised using push piers to lift and restore the home's foundation.

Now David H. has a safe, dry basement.
Soil pressure had severely damaged the block walls of Gene H.’s rental property in Maryland Heights. They were bowing inward to an alarming degree so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended Geo-Lock Channel Wall Anchors.
Geo-Lock Channel Wall Anchors are used when damage to the walls is very severe and they need to be straightened immediately to return structural integrity to the home. Woods removed soil from the outside of the wall to relieve the pressure as they connected long channel wall plates to earth anchors buried in the yard with steel anchor rods. The anchor rods were tightened to straighten the wall back to a more sound position and permanently stabilize the foundation walls. Geo-Lock Channel Anchors also prevent any future damage, like bowing and cracking, to the walls.
