National Radon Defense Recognizes Two Woods Radon Mitigation Specialists
Curt Drew, Owner and President of Nation Radon Defense, wrote the Woods Basement Systems team to congratulate two team members in attaining a new level of certification.

Woods Team,
Congratulations to Ken Herrmann and Chris Blickenstaff! You are now Certified Indoor Air Quality Specialists with National Radon Defense.
Here’s the list of criteria that Ken and Chris achieved to gain this certification:
- Completed the National Radon Proficiency Program for Radon Measurement and Mitigation
- Completed and passed the National Radon Proficiency Program exam for radon measurement and mitigation
- Completed performance testing on a Continuous Radon Monitor (as required by AARST/NEHA)
- Obtained a license with the National Environmental Health Association (now AARST) as a Radon Mitigation Specialist
- Implemented and followed the National Radon Defense Quality Assurance Program for radon measurement
- Implemented and followed the National Radon Defense Standard Operating Procedures for radon testing and mitigation
- Implemented and followed the National Radon Defense Worker Protection Plan
- Completed individual state licensing requirements and obtain license
- Completed the National Radon Defense Field Training on radon mitigation installation and performance
- Completed the National Radon Defense Indoor Air Quality Testing and Treatments training
