I have enjoyed my basement so much. I now have a fun room to go to when it storms. I have my sewing machine down there and a place where my ironing board can stay up all of the time!! Simple things but so convenient.
Before, we had to have things up off of the floor because the floor leaked and if the power went off the basement would get several inches of water in it during a bad storm. We got a generator for those times but that was after several messes!! It was always dirty and damp regardless of what we tried.
My 4 grandchildren really enjoy it. They have toys, their Wii, a TV, and a Foosball table down there and can run and scream and have a ball and no one tells them to slow down or don’t be so noisy.
