Sub-Floor Drainage System
The dark flooring along the perimeter of the basement is where the drainage system is installed. The system collects water and sends it to the sump pump.
Sump Pump
The sump pump is what collects all the water from the sub-floor drains and pumps it up and out of the basement through the white discharge lines. This system can be seen in this image being installed in the ground.
Discharge Lines
The three white tubes that are vertically placed against the left wall are what is called discharge lines. These are attached to the sump pump and send water up and out of the home.
Ext. Discharge Lines
The three white tubes installed on the exterior of the home are what connects the interior to the exterior. We install the patented IceGuard® system, an anti-freeze fitting that is installed outside of your home and ejects water away from the foundation in the event that the sump pump discharge lines freeze or become clogged.
Lawn Outlet
The last step in our waterproofing system is the lawn outlet which is installed far from the home and has discharge lines connected to it from below ground.
Battery Back Up System
Of course, in many cases water issues in the basement are caused by severe weather that can knock out power. With that in mind, we created the UltraSump® Battery Backup System to ensure continued protection no matter what happens. In the event of loss of power the battery backup will automatically kick in and begin removing water from your basement, preventing a flood.
Collected Water
The WaterGuard® system collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to your sump pump. The system installs quickly and has a clean finished appearance, meaning you don't have to worry about having an unsightly drain around the basement.
