Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: New Sump Pump Installed in Basement in Lake St. Louis, Missouri

Mark from Lake St. Louis wanted to get his original sump pump replaced after noticing water entering his basement. Mark decided to call Woods to replace the sump pump and have additional waterproofing installed in the basement to ensure the space would stay dry and healthy. Our crew installed a new triple pump sump pump in place of the old one as well as our sub-floor drainage system to collect leaks from the joint of the wall and basement floor. This system sends the leaks directly to the sump pump instead of them reaching the open area of the basement.

Seeping Water

Water had started to seep into this basement through the joint of the foundation wall and the basement floor. This led to the homeowner wanting our sub-floor drainage system installed along the walls.

Original Sump Pump

This original sump pump had failed, allowing water to enter the basement. With our triple pump system that replaced this original one, the likelihood of failure is much lower.

Triple Pump Sump Pump

Our sump pump system is designed with three pumps allowing for consistent flow of water out of the basement.

Sub-Floor Drainage System

The drainage system was installed below ground at the intersection of the wall and floor of the basement. This creates a nonobtrusive solution for water seeping through the foundation.

Replaced Dishcarge Line

This original discharge line does not allow as much flow of water out of the home. We replaced the guard at the top with our own design that has larger openings allowing for multiple directions of water to release.
