A loyal Woods Basement Systems customer in Springfield, Illinois, chose to take their basement waterproofing a step further with the addition of a water barrier liner. With an existing sump pump, discharge line, and sub-floor drainage system already in place, the new liner provides an added layer of protection by directing water that seeps through the foundation walls down toward the drainage system. This helps manage moisture, protect the basement from water intrusion, and create a drier, more comfortable space. Water Barrier Liner

After already working with Woods once before, this homeowner called us again to bring in additional waterproofing measures. The liner redirects leaks from vertical cracks in the foundation walls and sends it to the sub-floor drainage system.

Drainage System

The drainage system was installed to collect water from the joint of the wall and floor that's seeping through. The system drains the water to the sump pump and out of the basement.

Sump Pump Installation

The original installation of the sump pump only included the drainage system as well. This would move any water seeping through the joint of the floor and walls outside of the basement.

Triple Pump Sump Pump

Our sump pump has a three pump design that consistently move water outside of the basement.

Discharge Line

The discharge line releases water collected from the sump pump outside of the home. The guard at the top of the line has a clog-free design, preventing back up of water into the sump pump.
