Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and SunHouse in Moscow Mills, Missouri
Moscow Mills, Missouri homeowner Jeanne S. was distraught by water leaking into her basement. Water seeped in through an old window, through cracks in the wall, and where the floor meets the wall. The water created a musty environment and risked mold damage. System Design Specialist Tim W. designed a solution to keep her basement dry.
Foreman Melvin F. installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects and guides water to a sump pump and away from the home. CleanSpace was also installed. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier. It guides water to the WaterGuard, and it doesn't support mold growth. Lastly, the SunHouse window well was installed. SunHouse allows natural light to enter the basement, while protecting your basement from debris and water.
With these solutions, Jeanne's basement is dry and will stay dry. She is happy to have a basement free of water and mold.
