Basement Waterproofing - Inspection Port

On a side wall under the stairs some distance from the sump pump system, an inspection port is added to help the working function of the waterproofing system. It also has a knock out that may be used for a condensation line, for example from a dehumidifier, so a trip hazard across the basement floor may be relocated.
