Protecting with Waterproofing
This St. Charles, Missouri homeowner wanted to waterproof his basement before he finished the basement. The area had only experienced minor leaks, but he wanted to be proactive in waterproofing his home.
TwinPack Sump
The first product installed was the TwinPack sump pump. This sump pump will take the water collected by the WaterGuard drains and pump it out of the home.
French Drains
The next product installed was the french WaterGuard drains. WaterGuard drains are installed in the perimeter of the basement walls to collect water leaks and send them to the TwinPack sump pump. From there the TwinPack will discard of all the water collected.
IceGuard Extension
Outside of the home received waterproofing renovations as well. IceGuards were installed on the end of the discharge lines to prevent the lines from freezing or clogging.
LawnScape Outlet
The discharge line was also connected to the LawnScape outlet. The LawnScape outlet is used to direct the water pumped out by the sump pump way from the house. This product is essential to prevent flooding and to allow the water leaks to drain away from the home.
