Finished Basement
Julie from Ballwin, Missouri contacted Woods Basement Systems once she noticed water leaks accumulating in her basement. Julie and her husband had just finished the basement and wanted to protect the investment they made.
TripleSafe & WaterGuard
Team Woods utilized a TripleSafe sump pump to pump out the water leaks through the home's discharge line. Also installed were WaterGuard drains that serve the purpose of collecting water leaks and directing them to the sump pump.
What does a TripleSafe do?
The TripleSafe sump pump was installed in the corner of the basement to collect the water that the drains collected. What makes this system unique is this pump contains three pumps, one primary and two battery-operated backups, that will function dependably all year-round. If the primary pump fails or the home experiences a power outage, one of the backup pumps will switch on.
What do WaterGuard drains so?
As you see, WaterGuard drains are installed in the footing of the basement wall and then sealed with a cement topper. This french drainage system prevents water leaks from entering into the room and catches the leaks to direct them towards the sump pump. Unlike other drainage systems, this system is installed in the footing to mask the appearance of the drains and to prevent the system from clogging.
