Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Wet Basement in Saint Peters, Missouri
John R. of Saint Peters, Missouri was having problems in his basement. For about a year now, his basement had been leaking every time it would rain or storm, entering the space where the floor meets the wall. The water entered his home damaging his drywall and flooring, as well as items that were stored as well. Frustrated and concerned, John decided to call Woods Basement Systems to install a solution to fix his wet basement problems.
We installed our premiere interior drainage system along the perimeter of the basement, on-top of the footing. By doing that, the WaterGuard will catch any water that may try to enter the home and send it out before it can even touch the floors of the basement. We also installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, replacing the owners old broken one. This sump pump works along with the WaterGuard system to ensure that the water is pumped out of the home as fast as it had come in. Now that the home is waterproofed, John can finally rest knowing that his basement is dry and safe.
Cracked Floors
For the cracked floors, we used our Radon Crack Sealing to keep the water, moisture, and radon out of the home.
Sump Pump
We replaced the old, broken sump pump with a new TripleSafe system which includes three pumps in one sump liner. One of the pumps is also battery operated, ensuring the sump will work during a power outage.
WaterGuard and Trench Drain
Many homes have a water heater that is too close to the wall where we can not install WaterGuard behind it, in this case we installed a trench drain leading around the front of the water heater to collect the water instead.
WaterGuard
Once WaterGuard is installed, the water will be collected and sent out of the home as soon as it had entered.
Extending the Line
We extended the drainage line out into the yard to keep the water away from the foundation and home.

In this basement, the floors were cracked and letting in moisture and water.
