Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Columbia, IL Home
A homeowner in Columbia, Illinois was alarmed to see water standing in his basement causing massive amounts of damage. From there he decided to call Woods Basement Systems for the best solution. This owner met Team Woods' system design specialist Ken I., who recommended the installation of a TripleSafe sump pump, WaterGuard, and a LandScape outlet.
Team Woods installed a TripleSafe sump unit right away. The TripleSafe unit is composed of three separate pumps for triple protection and features a battery backup unit to power the sumps in any condition. WaterGuard works to collect water that seeps through basement walls. It guides that water to the sump pump so it can be pumped out of the home. It is installed in the perimeter of a basement floor. The LandScape outlet is then connected to the sump pump discharge line, which allows the water to leave the home and not reenter.
Now this homeowner can rest easy knowing his basement will stay clean and dry for years to come.
TripleSafe System
TripleSafe was installed to keep the basement dry with triple the protection.
The WaterGuard Design
WaterGuard is designed to capture water leaks at the floor/wall joint.
The Difference of WaterGuard
Unlike conventional French drains that are installed outside the foundation or alongside the footing, WaterGuard drainage piping is installed inside the basement and won't clog with silt or plant roots.
