In Saint Charles, Missouri homeowner Patricia N. has had rainwater problems in her home for as long as she could remember. With water entering through the gap where the floor meets the wall, she decided to finally waterproof her basement once and for all. She called Woods Basement Systems to find the perfect solution for her home.
We sent our foreman Michael Davies and his team out to the Affton, Missouri home to install our WaterGuard system. WaterGuard is engineered to be an efficient, long-lasting interior perimeter basement waterproofing system. The big difference is that the WaterGuard sits on-top of the footing, instead of the alongside of it. This is important because it keeps the wet dirt (commonly mud) from getting into the drain because the drain does not sit in the mud. After the WaterGuard is installed, Patricia does not need to worry about leaking and water in her basement ever again.

After Installing WaterGuard
This is what your basement will look like after being waterproofed with WaterGuard and CleanSpace.
Installing WaterGuard
Before installing WaterGuard, the CleanSpace liner is installed on the problem area wall. Next, the floor against the wall is removed and the WaterGuard is installed on-top of the footing. After the WaterGuard is fit in place, concrete is poured over to fit the floor back together.
After Waterproofing
Now, the basement was completely waterproofed.
