Jim, a homeowner in Foristell, Missouri wanted to take protective measures by waterproofing his basement. This led to Jim giving Woods Basement Systems a call to find a protective solution. Bill C., a system design specialist, went out to the house to see what products would give an optimal solution. Upon inspection, Bill recommended installing a WaterGuard drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump. These two products were installed by foreman, Brett J., and his crew of installers. Thanks to Team Woods, this basement is now safe and waterproofed!

Drainage System

Bill recommended installing a drainage system so that water leaks would be stopped before they could enter inside. Most water leaks leak in where the walls met the floor.

WaterGuard Drains

WaterGuard drains are unlike any other drainage system on the market because they are installed in the footing of the basement floor. After they are put in place, they are covered with a cement layer to seal the system to prevent clogging.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Next, the TripleSafe sump pump was installed by the WaterGuard drains. This system will work hand and hand with the drains to pump out the water that the drains collect.

Extending the Discharge Line

The discharge line was extended away from the foundation of the home.

Solution?

Team Woods sent system design specialist, Bill C., to the home to see what would protect the home from water damage. Bill recommended installing a sump pump system along with a drainage system to keep water out.
