WaterGuard® Waterproofing Perimeter System
Once we install our perimeter WaterGuard® System we pour concrete because this system is installed along the footing and needs to be covered.
Another View of the Perimeter
The perimeter system from another angle. In this photo, the concrete appears wet since it's drying. Do you see the gap between the wall and the footing? Using this method, moisture will be able to seep into the perimeter drainage system and then be carried away from the house by the discharge line.
How To Maintain the System
WaterGuard® Ports are the grey, oval-shaped items in the concrete. It is used to flush out sand, sediment, or whatever else gets in the system. In order for water to drain properly to the sump pump, we use this port to make our system flushable and easy to maintain.
TwinPAK™ Sump Pump
We installed a TwinPAK™ Sump Pump. A total of two primary sump pumps are included, and each has its own discharge line.
Exterior Drainage Line
Each sump pump installation includes a discharge line. To prevent an eyesore and trip hazard in your yard, we bury the discharge line underground.
