When it rains, water was flooding the basement of a Makanda, Illinois homeowner. A new roof was recently installed, and they originally thought the water was leaking through the roof. Here's how we waterproofed this leaking basement, keeping it dry at all times.

Where Water Leaks

This homeowner was experiencing water seeping in through the walls of their finished basement. You can see where the floor meets the wall and where water was entering.

Water Damage

Dehumidifier

Here is a look at the basement after our waterproofing system was installed. In the back is one of our dehumidifiers that helps prevent mold and eliminates that basement odor.

Access Port

The oval plastic piece installed where the wall and floor meet is the access port that we use to access the system for service. It can also be used to drain a dehumidifier.

New Sump Pump

We installed a new sump pump that removes up to 12,000 gallons of water so this homeowner no longer needs to worry about the basement flooding.

Perimeter Waterproofing

Just below the drying concrete is our no-clog perimeter waterproofing system designed to collect water seepage through walls and leaks along the floor.
