Perimeter Waterproofing System
We installed our perimeter waterproofing system which is constructed of a rugged plastic drain line that is installed underneath the drying concrete.
Access port
The oval gray plastic piece you see towards the top left corner is our system's access port. We use this access port to service the system and flush the system when needed.
Means of Egress
This homeowner wanted to finish the basement and building codes require a means of egress is installed. Here is the installed egress window and lid for an easy exit.
Egress Window Grade Level
A look at the window at grade. The cover is made of polycarbonate material, which protects the basement from leaves and debris while letting in sunlight.

Installing a Means of Egress
Towards the top right-hand corner of the photo, you can see a lid just above grade. This is where we installed a means of egress for a safe exit from the basement in the event of an emergency.
Water Damage
Here you can see the basement wall and floor with water damage. Because there was no perimeter system to take the water to the sump pump and then away from the house, the floor and wall in the basement will need to be replaced.
