Pictured is a combination piece of an old footing drain that was designed to help water leak at the foundation wall/ FOOTING concrete seam and into the sub-floor drainage. Typically, the sub-floor system which may or may not have rock or a filter wrap to control mud from clogging over time, is exactly what occurred in this basement.
