Stabilizing Floors
Here you can see our SmartJack® system supporting the floor beam above it. These jacks permanently lift and stabilize existing beams and floor joists to keep them from sagging.
Stabilize Foundation Walls
The vertical steel beams you see against the wall are Our PowerBrace system. It permanently stabilizes foundation walls. We use zinc-plated steel beams specially made for basement heights, which are tightly secured against the wall using brackets attached to the basement floor and first-floor framing.
Water Damage
The moisture in the basement was just right, causing mold growth that you can see here on the walls.
Perimeter French Drain System
The drying concrete you see here is where we installed our perimeter waterproofing system. Our patent drain is installed just above the footing of the floor and then sealed with fresh concrete.
Additional Sump Pumps
This homeowner wanted to make sure the basement stayed dry all the time so they installed an additional sump pump system on the other side of the basement. This basement was very large. We have custom solutions for any issue your basement may be having.
New Sump Pump
The new sump pump was installed. This system has three pumps in the event one of them goes out, the system will continue running. The black box next to the sump pump pit is a battery backup. If the home loses power during a storm, the system will continue to work.
Vapor Barrier
The white sheeting you see on the wall is 20-mil thick poly material that is designed to trap water behind it and lead it into the drainage system installed beneath the floor.
Trench Drain
To keep water from gushing into the basement from an outside entrance, we installed a trench drain.
Vertical Foundation Crack
Here is a great example of a horizontal crack that is causing the wall to bow inward. This happens when the soil outside expands and pushes against the foundation.
