Vapor Barrier

We installed a vapor barrier on this wall because of the water seepage coming through the cracks. This white 20 mil poly sheet is installed from the top of the wall to the bottom and is tied into our drainage system.

Peekaboo

In case the sump pump discharge line freezes or becomes blocked, the white caps you see on top allow water to escape.

Trench Drain

We install trench drains at entrances or stairs of basements to keep water from making its way in. The trench drain installed here is tied directly to our perimeter waterproofing system.

Where Water Leaks

This owner tried sealing the cracks where water was leaking from. If you look to the left of the door you can see the foam in the crease.
