Ultimate Sump Pump System
For this basement we used a sump pump system with three pumps and stands inside the pit, a water watch alarm system and battery backup to keep the system running in the event of a power outage.
Installing the Waterproofing System
Because our WaterGuard® system sits in rock instead of dirt, it is clog-free from silt and sediment that accumulates under the floor.
Dehumidifier
In your home, the air downstairs in the basement is what you breathe upstairs. The dehumidifier eliminates musty, damp odors from the basement by drying it and filtering it.
Trench Drain
We installed a trench drain around the appliances in the basement. In the event the basement were to ever et wet, these drains will help save the expensive appliances on the other side.
Trench Drain Installation
Like our WaterGuard® system, we lay the trench drain in a bed rocks which prevents clogging because of silt and sediment.
Waterproofing Stairs
A lot of the water damage in this basement happened under the stairs so we installed our perimeter system in the area. Here is a view after the system has been placed right able the footing of the foundation with concrete poured over to seal it.
Vapor Barrier
Our vapor barrier is like a pool liner but for your basement walls. It is permanently held in place by fasteners and spikes and feeds into our perimeter system for a seamless waterproofing solution.
