The drying concrete you see here is where our perimeter waterproofing system was installed. This system is installed right above the footing of the foundation.
Our vapor barrier is designed to capture any water seepage from cracks in the walls and direct it to the perimeter waterproofing system.
When installing our french drain system, any drywall hung needs to be cut in order to be installed in this basement. Since this basement is getting new vapor barrier, we took the drywall completely off.
Tying into Existing Sump Pump
Our system can tie into an existing sump pump system like you see here.
The vapor barrier has been put up and the concrete is drying around the perimeter where the perimeter system was installed.
You can see where the homeowner tried to remedy the leaking water in the basement on the back wall. The black stuff on the wall is a type of waterproofing sealant that can be purchased at any big box store to "seal' cracks.
