Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Farmington, IL Basement
Linda W. was concerned about water getting into her basement through the windows and causing damage. To solve this issue, Woods had the WaterGuard System installed. These pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it towards the TripleSafe Sump System, which was also installed to pump the water away from the house. Next, IceGuard was installed to allow water to escape if the pipes freeze in the winter. This water will then go through the downspout extension away from the house. Lastly, the WellDuct Window Well Drain was installed. This will catch water that comes in from the windows and drain it to the interior perimeter drain. Linda can now have peace of mind knowing that the basement will stay dry and clean for years to come!
Basement Mold Damage
Water that is coming in through the windows is leaking onto the floor, causing damage and mold.
WellDuct Ready
The WellDuct will catch water leaking from the windows down to the WaterGuard System.
TripleSafe and WaterGuard at Work
The water that comes in through the windows will flow from WaterGuard to the TripleSafe, which will pump the water away.
No Way for Water to Escape
There is no extended downspout, so the water will have a greater chance of leaking into the basement.
IceGuard and Downspout Extension
The water that comes from the IceGuard System will then travel through the pipes away from the house.
