Access Port
The piece towards the corner of the system is an access port. This is used to access the system for service and to flush the system to make sure everything is working properly.
Sump Pump - Unfinished Part of Basement
The system you see here is one of the best systems on the market. The sump pump system comes with three pumps, three stands, an airtight lid, water watch alarm, and a battery backup to keep the system running in the event of a power outage.
Dehumidifier
This unit is small but mighty. It not only filters the air but also pulls the moisture out.
Discharge System
The caps you see at the top of these discharge lines allow water to escape in the event the lines freeze during winter or get clogged.
Drain Line Cover
This cover is used at the end of the underground discharge line and keeps debris and critters from getting into the system.
Lateral Line
Because of the size of this basement, a lateral line was installed. Here the lateral line has been laid in the rocks where we jackhammered the concrete out and connected it to the sump pump and discharge line.
Lateral Line to Sump Pump
Here is the lateral line connecting to the sump pump. Water will be captured and directed through this lateral line to the sump pump and will then be pumped out away from the house.
New Concrete
Because our system is installed right above the footing of your foundation, we pour concrete over the system to encapsulate is and keep it in place.
Additional Sump Pump
This basement was so large that it needed two sump pump systems to collect water and move it away from the house. Here is one of our top systems. This system includes three pumps and three stands, a water watch alarm system, and a battery backup to keep the system running in the event of a power outage.
Old Sump Pump
A look at the old sump pump in the finished part of the basement.
Installing Lateral Line
Here you can see the drain tile being placed in the lateral line and connecting to the sump pump. Next concrete will be poured over to encapsulate everything.
During Installation
Here you can see our perimeter waterproofing system near the rock, the new sump pump pit which will soon have concrete poured over to encapsulate the system.
Underground Discharge Line
A view of the underground discharge line. The lines coming from the house have to caps on top that allow water to escape in the event the lines freeze. The grate towards the bottom of the photo is the end of the line and protects the system from critters or debris getting in.
