Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Repairing and Waterproofing a Cracked and Leaking Basement in Fenton, MO
A foundation was cracking in a basement in Fenton, MO, and water was leaking out of the cracks. The sump system was also not pumping the water out correctly. To solve these issues, GeoLock Wall Anchors were first installed. These will permanently stabilize the foundation, and straighten it back to its original position. Next, a CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the walls, and drain leaks down to a perimeter drainage system. Next, the sump system was replaced with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will discharge water out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Next, the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge System was installed. These discharge lines will allow water to escape if the pipes freeze or become blocked. Lastly, a LawnScape Outlet was installed. This connects the downspout to a special extension sending water away from the foundation while camouflaging the end of the pipe. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come thanks to these systems!
