Painted Walls Leaking
Several coats of basement paint could not stop leaks in the walls and at the basement floor. Even with a sump pump, every rain there was a wet basement.
Completed wall and floor waterproofing
The perimeter basement waterproofing systems with basement wall finish and vertical drain will now keep the whole basement dry all the time.
New Sump Pump Location
The center of the basement was the lowest part so for proper drainage we will install our sump pump systems across the basement opposite the existing sump pump.
Double Sump Pumps
Because this Swansea IL homeowner wanted a completely dry basement, they selected our dual sump pump system. The two sump pump will run at different levels of water leaking and flooding the basement, with primary sump pump working first and for most of the cycles. Note, they were also keeping their existing sump pump too to have THREE pumps. They are serious about never having a wet basement again.
Limited Space to Work
Between the hot water heater and large built in sink, there was limited room for our sump pumps so we positioned our sump pumps to the center opposite wall across from this part of the basement. We have several patented products, such as this specialize drain grate, to add to the perimeter waterproofing systems for complete protection from a wet basement and to save the plumbing cost to remove and replace the sink.
Tunnel the Side Walk
To get the sump pump drain lines in, we need to tunnel the sidewalk to the front porch to make sure the water pumped out downhill from the home.
