Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Cracked and Leaking Foundation Repaired in Fenton, MO
A foundation was cracking in Fenton, MO, causing water to leak. To solve these issues, GeoLock Wall Anchors were first installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. Additionally, Hide-A-Way Wall Anchor Covers were installed. The snap-on design of these covers allows for future tightening and adjustment of the anchors.
Next, the BrightWall Paneling System was installed. This bright, clean, and durable wall system will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any wall leaks to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, draining water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharging it out of the house. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry for years to come!
