Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Basement in Florrissant, MO
This project in St. Peters, MO involved a full basement waterproofing system, sump pump installation, and exterior water management upgrades. To begin, 49 feet of WaterGuard interior drainage was installed along the basement perimeter to capture incoming water and direct it away from the foundation. A WaterGuard port was added to allow for future access and maintenance. The crew completed project setup and removed baseboards to access wall edges, followed by rough-cutting 12 wall sections to make room for installation. A 23-foot exterior discharge line was placed to carry water away from the home.
In the basement, a TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to provide reliable, multi-level protection against flooding. Two IceGuard fittings were added to prevent freezing in the discharge lines, and a LawnScape outlet was installed for proper water release. An additional 25-foot exterior discharge line was installed to complete the system. Utility coordination and permit arrangements were handled, and 3 feet of concrete was removed and replaced to accommodate the discharge line.
To help manage roof runoff, 142 feet of RainDrop gutter guards were installed to keep gutters free of debris, along with matching RainDrop miters to maintain full system coverage and performance. This combination of solutions helps protect the home from water intrusion and foundation damage.
