Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofed Basement in Crystal City, MO

This project involved the installation of a complete waterproofing system consisting of a sub-floor drainage system, a sump pump system with multiple power redundancies, interior and exterior discharge lines, and a wall encapsulation system. The concrete perimeter was excavated to install the sub-floor drainage channels along the foundation wall footing. The channels were leveled, inspected for continuity, and covered with clean stone to promote drainage flow before sealing with concrete to restore the floor surface. The discharge lines were fitted with a device to prevent flooding from frozen or clogged discharge pipes. An outlet was installed at the termination point to direct water safely away from the foundation and blend with the surrounding landscape.
