Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofed Basement in Cape Girardeau, MO

This Woods Basement Systems project featured a comprehensive basement waterproofing, foundation support, and site restoration package, integrating effective drainage, sump pump reliability, and concrete/stair replacement for lasting protection and usability. The sub-floor drainage system was installed throughout the basement, with strategic placement to intercept wall and floor seepage. A sump pump was installed for premium protection against flooding, featuring a twin liner, 1/3 hp cast iron primary AC pump, 1/2 hp cast iron AC backup pump, and an UltraSump™ battery backup system.

Drainage system

WaterGuard™ works for both block walls and poured concrete, ensuring that your basement remains dry in all situations.

Pump

For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller™ ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

Outlet

The discharge line was routed to daylight, equipped with IceGuard™ to safeguard against clogs or freezing outdoors, and a LawnScape™ outlet for water dispersal at its end.
