Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofed Basement in University City, MO

This waterproofing project combined baseboard and under-floor drainage, advanced sump pump technology, wall moisture protection, and code-compliant site preparation for reliable, dry basement results. A baseboard water control was installed, working together with an interior drainage system positioned about 3 feet from the exterior walls under the concrete floor. At the heart of the system, the sump pump delivers three stages of basement protection: a primary Zoeller 1/3hp cast iron AC pump, a backup 1/2hp cast iron AC pump, and an UltraSump™ battery backup. The CleanSpace™ Wall System was installed to block vapor, giving walls a bright finish and adding moisture protection; this system is only paired with a Basement Systems waterproofing setup for best performance.

Clean Wall

Our CleanSpace wall system functions like our other wall systems by blocking water vapor from seeping through foundation walls and channeling it toward the sump pump.

Pump

If a circuit trips, the power goes out, or the sump pump fails, the TripleSafe™ system's UltraSump® Battery Backup will automatically activate to keep it running.

When the discharge line is clear, water drains normally. But if the line freezes, the IceGuard™ system releases water through its specially designed slots to prevent backups.
