For this job, our crew waterproofed this customer's basement by installing our most critical products to combat water damage. We first installed the sub-floor drainage system along the interior perimeter of the basement. Then we installed a sump pump system with a twin liner, a 1/3 hp primary cast-iron AC pump, a 1/2 hp cast-iron AC backup pump, and an UltraSump™ battery backup. This is to ensure that the water being collected is then pumped away from the basement's foundation.

Drainage System

Waterproofing

WaterGuard™ is installed with minimal disruption to the slab, and all concrete is restored post-installation.

Access Port

Installed a WaterGuard™ Port to provide access for future inspection, flushing, and connection of dehumidifier or condensate drains.

Installed an IceGuard™ on the exterior discharge riser to provide an overflow path if the line becomes frozen or clogged.

Install TrenchDrain by the door so surface water is intercepted and tied into the WaterGuard line.

Water Protection

The WaterGuard™ French drain is specifically designed to be installed beneath the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. This placement keeps the drainage system out of the "mud zone," where drains are prone to clogging.
