A crawl space is that part of the house that you never think about until you turn on the air conditioner and wonder why your house smells like a dumpster. That’s why Joshua H called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jacob K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman James L installed CleanSpace in Joshua’s crawl space. This will keep the space dry, and keep mold away so that there are no bad smells in the house. 

Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Imperial, MO, creating a damp environment and a musty smell. To solve these issues, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level. This will also eliminate mold growth and make the whole house healthier. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. This crawlspace will now remain clean and dry for years to come!

A crawlspace in Imperial, MO was not insulated properly, and moisture was entering it, causing problems. To solve these issues, SilverGlo Insulation was first installed. This features a radiant barrier infused with graphite, so the heat is reflected into the crawlspace, saving energy. Next, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. Support blocks were failing in a crawlspace in Festus, MO, and moisture was entering it as well. To solve these issues, the SmartJack System was first installed. These are steel support systems that can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in a crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position, and reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans.
