Crawl spaces are often overlooked by homeowners and they think if it's out of sight, then it's out of mind. Unfortunately, crawl spaces do impact your living space. Humid air in the crawl space rises to other parts of the house. A crawl space in Glen Carbon, IL needed a makeover. The homeowner reached out to Woods and we used our top of the line products. Our CleanSpace™ Encapsulation system not only protects the walls, but also controls moisture. Now the crawl space will stay healthy and dry!
This crawl space is now sealed with a vapor barrier and equipped with a sump pump system to combat moisture, mold, and humidity.
Tyler W. of New Athens, Illinois discovered that his crawl space was flooding. He knew that all the standing water could cause problems such as mold growth and rotting, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Joshua L. assessed the situation and decided the best solution would be to fully waterproof the crawl space. Foreman Joshua B. then traveled to the home to install a CleanSpace encapsulation system, a SmartPipe drainage system, a SmartSump sump pump, and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace encapsulation system, pictured above, was placed over the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It is a durable liner that completely seals the crawl space from the earth and acts as a vapor barrier.
A crawlspace was settling in Perryville, MO, causing the walls to shift. To solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. Any cracks will also be closed so that no water can leak through. This crawlspace will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!
Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Ellis Grove, Il, so a CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This liner completely isolates the crawlspace from the earth. This dramatically reduces the air's humidity level, eliminating mold growth and rot from the crawlspace and making the whole house healthier. The bright white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allows one to easily see that the crawlspace is free of mold, insects, and dirt. This crawlspace will remain clean and dry for years to come!
