Bowing walls were a symptom in this foundation and it was fixed with wall anchors to brace the walls properly.

Judy L was concerned when she noticed that her home's floors were beginning to sink in certain areas. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist John S was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jose L installed a SmartJack, shown above, underneath Judy’s home. The SmartJack will support the portion of the house that is sinking, and raise it back to its proper level overtime.

Support blocks were failing in a crawlspace in O'Fallon, IL, causing stability issues. To fix this, the SmartJack System was installed. These are steel support systems that can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in a crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position, reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans, and solve the problem once and for all!
