Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

A foundation was shifting in Chesterfield, MO, causing a large crack to appear and grow over time. To solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. External soil pressure can cause damage to walls and cause them to fail. Gary F.’s retaining wall behind his Chesterfield, MO home was bowing inward and cracked. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors counteract soil pressure by connecting steel wall plates to earth anchors embedded in the yard using galvanized steel anchor rods which stabilizes the wall. Woods also straightened the wall immediately by excavating behind the wall and tightening the anchors. Wall plate covers as shown in the picture can also be included to make wall plates more aesthetically pleasing.
