Tilting and cracking in foundation walls can drive down a home’s value and scare off potential buyers. Along the foundation walls, galvanized steel anchor rods were driven through the walls and connected to earth anchors embedded in stable soil in the yard and to steel wall plates on the inside of the walls. They permanently stabilize the walls in place, restoring value to the home. They can also straighten walls over time by tightening the anchors during dry conditions.

As homes age and foundations shift, basement walls often start to crack and bow inward. Foreman Bradly P installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor in David and Darlene’s basement.  The Wall Anchor, shown above with a cover, has two ends, one will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house, and the other end will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and will straighten the walls over time.

A foundation was cracking in Ballwin, MO, and water was leaking out of them and pooling onto the floor. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was first installed.
