A foundation was cracking in Oakville, MO, causing water to seep through them. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. This foundation will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!
Jim B was concerned when he noticed about the cracks on his patio. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jeremy R was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman William T used PolyLevel to even out the concrete. PolyLevel is injected into the concrete and will raise the level of the concrete and fill in the cracks. The injection leaves behind a dime sized hole that will be filled in with concrete.
Saint Louis homeowner Phyllis noticed her basement walls could use a little more support. She gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Jeremy developed a plan.
Foreman Greg and his crew installed PowerBraces for her. They PowerBraces are steel I-Beams that are anchored on the joist and the floor. They will be tightened overtime to straighten the walls.
Phyllis can now redecorate her basement and know it will be safe for decades to come.
A basement wall was continuing to crack after being previously sealed in Saint Louis, MO, so GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. This is the best solution to straighten the wall over time, as it can fix severe problems and stabilize the foundation for good!
Sandy and Lester J were concerned when they noticed that the floors in their home were starting to sink. So they decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Chris S was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jose L installed a Push Pier in their basement. The push pier, shown above, will support the level of the floor that is sinking, and over time will be able to raise it back up to its original height. This will help to stabilize the floors.
