Design Specialist Chris G. thorough inspected the inside and outside of Dale’s basement and found the perfect solution.
CleanSpace was installed over the foundation walls. CleanSpace is a thick and durable plastic vapor barrier that will prevent water from the foundation walls from damaging the finished walls and instead directs it to the drainage system. WaterGuard was installed along the walls and into the concrete foundation floors. It’s situated away from any mud that might clog it and collects water from the floors and walls then drains it to the sump pump.
The TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. The TripleSafe consists of three pumps, including a battery back up pump, sitting at different levels within the sump liner to ensure that no matter how high the waters rise or if there’s a power outage, water will still be pumped safely out and away from the basement through discharge lines going to the yard. On the discharge lines, IceGuards were installed. IceGuards have slotted openings that allow water to escape into the yard, rather than coming back in to the basement, in the event that the discharge lines become frozen or clogged.
A SaniDry dehumidifier was also installed. The SaniDry dehumidifier removes up to 100 pints of water from basement air each day, keeping the relative humidity low so the finished basement walls will not be damaged further and also to prevent mold growth or musty smells.

Bill C. of Dahlgren, Illinois became worried when he discovered his crawl space was holding water when it rained. Because wet crawl spaces are the perfect place for mold to grow, it is important to get that problem taken care of right away. The mold spores can end up in the house, which means the homeowner is breathing in spores all the time. Bill understood the risks with a wet crawl space, so he called Woods Basement Systems.
Design specialist Jacob K. discussed the problem with Bill C. and came up with the best solution. Soon after speaking, foreman Brett J. headed over to the home. To make sure any future water leaks were taken care of, Brett J. installed a SmartPipe system and a Zoeller sump pump with a discharge line. The SmartPipe system is a drainage system made specifically for crawl spaces. It has holes on the top and front, which allows it to collect water from the both the soil and the surface of the crawl space. The Zoeller sump pump is also made for crawl spaces. It gathers any water and, using the discharge line, sends the water out and away from the house. Together, these products ensure a completely dry crawl space.

This can be the result of weight of the concrete in addition to an accumulation of the weight of what the concrete is responsible for holding up. He also said that the appropriate solution would be for foreman Andrew T. to install PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a foam injection that is installed into the concrete and works to lift it back to its original position.

Maplewood, Missouri homeowner Sam noticed cracks in his brick foundation that were both interior and exterior. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and Team Woods developed a plan for him.
Foreman Jose and his crew installed Push Piers to lift the foundation. The steel rods are driven into the ground to a depth that the soil is solid. The weight of the home is then transfered from the moving soil to the rods. This prevents future settling of the home and also raises the home closing the gaps.
Sam can now rest easy knowing no more cracks will appear and his home is sturdy.
