I TRUST WOODS. That is so important to me.
You know what my favorite thing about Woods is? They are honest and have integrity. They don't give unneeded, exhorbitant bids for work. The actuall CARE about the customer and are sensitive to its needs given the current economy. My experience has been that other local companies will give you an exhorbitant bid and over dramatize the problem, even if you don't need the work!! Consumer be aware of these other companies.
I speak from personal experience....Woods provided easy solutions. I think the reason they get so many referrals is they will provided you with a no cost solution, if possible, first. Of course, that's ot always the case. However, some local companies bid and charge exhorbitant amounts for very small problems or work that doesn't really need to be done. How would I have known that though? I could have spent tens of thousands of dollars....WITHOUT NEED.
In one case, they advised how to fix the problem without even charging. Now that's just unheard of in today's world! I am so thankful that there are still companies out there that are trustworthy and honest.
I always refer Woods Basement Systems for these types of home needs. Having a leaky basement sucks! Plain and simple. Make it easier by calling Woods. They rock!! :)
Last after a long dry spell year my house developed several cracks in the basement floor and ceiling. I thought I would have to spend thousands of dollars to have my foundation peered. The Woods person came out and surveyed my house and instead of trying to sell me an expensive package, assured me that my house was not settling and that I did not need peer jacking. Woods didnât even charge for the visit. I was thrilled. It is great to deal with honest people.

I had problems for years and put off getting it done. In 2008 when St. Louis had a horribly wet spring, it finally happened, the crack that never leaked, leaked. Actually it didn't leak, it poured. Woods put in the FlexiSpan system over the two cracks and both of them have been 100% dry for 2 years. We just sold our house and the warranty will be transferred to the new owners.âÂÂ
The entire process was seamless... And the cleanup job was AMAZING!!!! You couldn't even tell someone dug 8 6 ft deep holes in our yard! Great Job!
Next time you come to my home or near here please sell/give/bring me one of the charcoal filters for my santi-drier - I want to get the musty smell out of my basement/house. Call before you come so that I will be here. Thanks, Paul Mallery

Fast Response & Good Advice
I spoke to several foundation repair companies and thought i was going to have to spend a bunch of money to get the problem fixed. The guy from Woods Basement Systems gave me a written summary about the problem and provided a solution that cost less than half of what some of the other contractors quoted. The work was done on time and cost exactly what i was told it would. I would recommend this company to all my friends.

The project was to replace a primary sump pump that had failed. I was disappointed in the time it took to get the job scheduled - 10 days. I indicated the job was an emergency since I had to rely on a battery back up pump during a period of heavy rain.
I had Woods Basement Systems come out to my home and do some work on my foundation in St. Louis, MO. I had problems with bowing walls, leaking wall cracks and settling. The specialist came to my home, inspected the perimeter thoroughly and gave me my written estimate on the spot!
Now I have a basement I feel secure in. It's so nice to come across friendly, responsible people to help you with problems that keep you from finishing problems! I recommend Woods to everyone that I know, who are living similar problems. Go Woods!
After a couple of years of trying to stop water from leaking into a corner of our basement some of our coworkers said they had used Woods and now had a dry basement. They come out and did their thing and made some suggestions to my husband about what he should do and that helped a lot. We still had a small leak so Woods put in there stuff, sump pump and drains... and since the leak was less after the extra work they suggested their bill for their work was a lot less than two other companies we called. Thanks to Woods we saved some money and a dry basement too!
when i was facing spending big money to fix a problem with my moldy/wet basement in the house i was interviewed a bunch of outfits and not only did these folks have more info than i needed, they really did what they promised. i would highly recommmend them to anyone with a wet/moldy basement.
The young man who came out this month to do the follow up service call on our equipment installed last year was also very polite, precise, friendly, caretaking of our property. Thus far I am very satisfied with the whole job.

We have had work done by your company not only for putting in a drainage system but also for anchoring a wall and anchoring a foundation. We were pleased with everything. The only problem was that after you dug down to bedrock to anchor the foundation of a room addition, shortly afterward we noticed a crack running up the block foundaton. You were notified about it and offered to come out to fix it free of charge, I believe, but my husband said that he could patch it himself. We've not had any other problems with any of your work. You are an excellent company that has cordial and knowledgeable employees.
Of course, now that we have our basement waterproofed, we've had a drought, but it looks so good I'm sure it will work great.
So far, I'm very pleased with the service we received! Will let you know "if" we ever get any rain, how well the system works. :)
The only criticism is that there was a lot of confusion with scheduling an annual service appointment for my sump pump. I was called at least four times to change appointment times. Luckily I am a stay-at-home dad and this was not as big of an issue as it could have been, but inconvenient none the less.
