A crawl space is that part of the house that you never think about until you turn on the air conditioner and wonder why your house smells like a dumpster. That’s why Joshua H called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jacob K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman James L installed CleanSpace in Joshua’s crawl space. This will keep the space dry, and keep mold away so that there are no bad smells in the house.
This Pevely, Missouri homeowner was very concerned with the state of her concrete-block basement walls. Over the years, they had become riddled with large cracks and had begun to bow inward. She was worried that, if left unaddressed, the walls may collapse. To support these walls and prevent any more damage, a Woods Basement Systems team affixed several PowerBrace supports to the wall. These galvanized steel I-beams are incredibly strong and totally prevent further movement.
Support blocks were failing in a crawlspace in Pevely, MO, causing the overhead beams to shift and separate. To solve this issue, the SmartJack System was installed. This will stabilize the beams and floor joists in the crawlspace and lift the floor above it back toward its original elevation. Floor bounce caused by weakened joists or excessive spans will also be reduced. This crawlspace will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!
Concrete steps leading up to a front door were sinking in Pevely, MO, causing concern. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slabs back up. This will improve the safety of the steps and restore peace of mind for years to come!
