Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system as part of the waterproofing system. WaterGuard was installed under the cement floors along the full perimeter of the basement. It sits on top of the concrete footing of the home, unlike other systems that are either installed along the footing or on the exterior of the foundation, which keeps it free from mud as it collects water from the foundation walls and wall joints then drains it to the sump pump for removal.

The Kirkwood, Missouri YMCA had a musty, moldy crawl space. Mold is an allergen and can be hazardous to the health of many people. John S., system design specialist, designed a solution to waterproof the crawl space. 

Foreman Jose L. installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier, so it does not support mold growth. 

The Kirkwood, Missouri YMCA owners discovered cracks in the foundation walls. After further inspection, system design specialist John S. found that the walls were bowing under pressure. Increased water pressure in the soil caused the walls to bow inward. 

Foreman Jose L. installed PowerBrace. PowerBrace works to restore the walls to their original position. The galvanized steel I-beams provide support for the foundation walls.
