Water was leaking down the walls in a basement in Fults, IL, causing mold to grow. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard system was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that separates it from the soil under the floor so it will never clog. It will also drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!
A Columbia, IL resident was tired of dealing with a wet basement every time it rained because her sump pump couldn't keep up with the amount of incoming water. Woods Basement Systems replaced her old, nasty sump pump with a new TripleSafe. The resident now happily enjoys a dry basement all the time!
Sallie and Herbert B. of Columbia, Illinois were disappointed with their wet, musty crawl space. Mold began to grow and the air in their home was unhealthy.
Woods Basement Systems' foreman Josh B. installed the CleanSpace Encapsualtion system as a solution. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that keeps their crawl space free of moisture, and ultimately free of mold.
Deric C. of Columbia, Illinois was troubled by his bowing foundation walls. As the walls bowed under pressure, they cracked and allowed water to enter his basement.
System design specialist Rob C. designed a solution. Jeremy R., foreman, installed PowerBrace to support the foundation and straighten the walls over time. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed where access to undisturbed soil was available. In addition to the foundation support, Deric's basement was waterproofed with WaterGuard.
Water kept getting into the finished basement of Miranda B.’s Columbia, IL home so she called Woods Basement Systems for a free assessment. Woods recommended a waterproofing system to deal with the unwanted water.
Woods installed WaterGuard as part of the waterproofing system. As shown in the pictures, WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed underneath the foundation floors, on top of the concrete footing of the home. It is situated out of the way of mud that may clog it as it collects unwanted water from the walls and floors of the basement and drains it away to the sump pump for removal. TrenchDrains can also be seen in the pictures. They are grates that are flush with the floors and will catch any encroaching water coming into the basement under the door and leads it to the WaterGuard for draining.
Miranda is glad she doesn’t have to worry about severe weather in the forecast because her finished basement will stay dry.
