Water was leaking down the walls of a basement in Saint Peter, IL, and the sump pump was failing to pump this water out of the house. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. A concrete staircase was sinking in Tunnel Hill, IL, causing large cracks to form and for them to become uneven. To solve these issues, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. Additionally, NexusPro Joint Sealant was installed. This will seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. It will provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. This St. Elmo, IL basement was water damaged to do the amount of water that would regularly accumulate into the basement. The previous sump pump wasn't able to handle this amount of water, causing the water to remain inside. Team Woods solved this homeowner's water issue by replacing the old sump pump with a new TripleSafe sump.
