WaterGuard and FlowGuard Installed in Cahokia, IL

Before renovating or finishing a basement, it needs to be waterproofed otherwise any finishings will become water damaged and cost more money in the long run. Josh R. was renovating a customer’s basement in Cahokia, IL when it flooded so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.

Along the ledge where the concrete footing sat above the foundation floors, Woods installed FlowGuard. The FlowGuard catches water from the foundation walls and directs it down to the drainage system. WaterGuard was installed to collect water from the FlowGuard as well as the foundation floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal. It’s situated out of the way of any mud that might clog it.
