Anna, IL Crawl Space Swamp

This crawl space in Anna, Illinois was a swamp.  Resting on a stone foundation, nothing separated the house above from the damp earth below except a thin plastic sheet.  This sheet had torn and uncovered much of the dirt floor.  Standing water and humidity created a musty smell that concerned the homeowner.  Woods Basement Systems installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal off the dirt floor, and the SmartSump sump pump system took care of the groundwater seepage.
