Waterproofing Before Finishing

WaterGuard™ is a drainage system that directs the water that builds up near the footing into the sump pump system where it can be drained away from the home. But ugly waterproofing systems just wouldn't do in a beautiful finished basement. That's why WaterGuard™ is installed below the wall where it can drain the water away without being seen. Then the bottom half of the wall is replaced with durable and waterproof materials that could withstand water damage from heavy flooding or plumbing leaks.
