Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This resident was having a persistent problem with water entering through the window wells and walls of their basement before contacting the Woods Basement Systems Team. Our crew installed poly sheet material on the walls of this basement to keep it dry at all times. The wall covering directs any wall seepage or moisture into your perimeter drain system. This system is a maintenance-free and cost-effective way to waterproof your walls while making them look nice.

A trick to help drain water from beneath the basement floor is to drill a large hole in the drain line of a floor drain, low enough to let water in from under the floor.  But if you are relying on that and do not also have a sump pump...ouch!  We retrofit our TripleSafe® sump pump system. After getting wet three times, this Lemay, Missouri homeowner didn't want that to happen ever again.  The TripleSafe® has three operating pumps, not all at the same time, and one is a battery backup pump for operating during a power outage, or if a breaker trips, water levels rise, or if one of the primary pump fails after years of being in service.

This O'Fallon, Missouri crawl space had a vapor barrier installed to control moisture,  however, their sump pump pit was holding water and did not have a sealed lid, which was allowing moisture to evaporate into the space any way.

Our CleanSpace® encapsulation vapor barrier seals the walls and dirt floor of a crawl space.  Our crawl space sump pump, SmartSump®, has a sealed lid, high water alarm that could be connect via a smart device or home sercurity system, and battery backup sump pump.

This Kirkwood, MO basement was installed with a WaterGuard system, which directs the flow of unwanted water into the sump pump, and a TripleSafe sump pump, which pumps the water out of and away from the home.

This O'Fallon, Missouri home had a sump pump but lacked any other form of waterproofing. Woods Basement Systems serviced the existing sump pump and installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a waterproofing system that shunts water away from the home. WaterGuard is unique in that it sits on top of the footing of the home which prevents it from filling with dirt and mud.
