With this system installed, any water that would leak into the basement will instead be drained into the sump pump where it can be removed from the home. 

Once the tubing is in place, the trench is filled with clean stone that will prevent the tube from being clogged with mud. Finally, the trench is covered again with concrete, making the basement floor seamless once again. After everything is done the home will be protected from leaks through the walls without any unsightly tubing or the risk of overfilling drywells near the cracks.
